Submission checklist
- Completed, polished manuscript in Word or PDF professionally formatted for print
- Print-ready, high-quality cover formatted for print
- You own the copyright to the work and are able to grant Bound Hare Press permission to publish (you retain all rights)
Why we require these things
As a small independent press, we seek boundary-pushing writers whose work may not fit within, or who choose not to pursue, traditional publishing models. Because we publish challenging, complex books and do not charge authors any fees, we are unable to provide editorial or design services prior to acceptance. Submissions must be publication-ready.
If accepted
If your book is accepted, you'll need to provide:
- Author bio
- Author headshot
- PayPal account email address for royalty payments
