Our Story
Bound Hare Press started the way most independent presses do—with a founder who had books to publish and no interest in the traditional gatekeeping process. Steven W. Simon is the founder of Bound Hare Press and one of its authors. He built the press around a simple idea: that good writing deserves to exist in the world regardless of whether it fits a commercial mold. The other authors on this site aren't here by accident—they're writers Steven has read, believed in, and chosen to put his name behind.
